Dad & Dancer Opening Dance: Sign-up Deadline – March 21
This special dance will OPEN the recital and is held in celebration of Father’s Day in June, honoring the father figure in your dancer’s life; all are welcome — dad, grandparent, uncle, adult brother, family friend. Open to Lynn & Jen’s students of all ages. There is a one-time $100.00 fee; no costume required. Rehearsals begin in March and are held twice a month on Saturday afternoons.

Closing Dance: Sign-up Deadline (Ages 13+) – March 16
The Closing Dance is the FINAL dance of the recital featuring the graduating seniors and is the last dance in the show. There is a one-time $100 fee and a required costume (up to $85.00). Rehearsals begin in March and are held on Thursday afternoons. Due to the short timeframe, only one absence is permitted. If a dancer misses a class when choreography is taught, they may not be included in that section of the routine.

Peek Week

In-Person Peek Week: April 6-11, 2026
Classes are closed to keep our students focused on the teachers, so we invite and encourage families and friends to watch your dancers’ progress during our “Peek” weeks.

Picture Day

Picture Day 
May 9, 2026 A professional photographer will be at the studio for this season, and both individual and group picture options will be available.  Class pictures will be taken and proudly displayed in the waiting room next year.  Note: No classes will be held that day.

Recital & Dress Rehearsal Dates

All classes except ballet technique and kicks, turns and leaps have recital dances that are performed in one show.  Location & dates will be announced as soon as the school confirms.  The estimated price per ticket is $40.

Location:  Burlington High School

Dress Rehearsals: Monday, June 8 & Wednesday, June 10

Recital: Sunday, June 14

Show time: 1:00pm

Things to know

Vacation and Snow Days
We typically follow the Arlington public school vacation and holiday calendar.

If the Arlington schools have a snow day or close early, the studio will be closed. If school is not cancelled, but weather conditions are poor, there are 4 ways to check for studio closures:

Make-up classes will be available beginning in May for any classes missed due to holidays and snow days.
