All you need to know for this season at Lynn and Jen’s Dance Studio
RECITAL INFORMATION
Recital – Sunday, June 15th @ Burlington High School
123 Cambridge Street Burlington, Ma 01803
Dancers’ Arrival – 12:00 pm
Dancers must be at the high school and report to the assigned dressing room one hour before the show starts.
Auditorium Opens – 12:15pm
Doors will open for seating forty-five minutes before the show starts.
Show Time – 1:00 pm
Rules for the Theater:
You may not leave or enter the auditorium during a dance. Please remain seated during the dances.
No sitting, standing, dancing or running in the aisle.
No video recording during the recital. We will be recording and selling performance links. You may video record at dress rehearsal.
No flash photography during the recital; this is dangerous for the dancers.
Students have been working hard all year for the recital; please show them support by staying for the whole show.
Final Bow: The final bow is a special moment at the end of the recital when all dancers return to the stage together, along with their teachers, to take a bow and celebrate the performance. Dancers participating in the final bow must be in their assigned dressing room 6 numbers prior to the end of the show. The groups will be escorted to the stage wings, and will be returned to the dressing rooms for pick-up after the show. For everyone’s safety, there will be no exits or pick-ups from the stage.
Dressing Room Supervision: Room Monitors will be in the dressing rooms with the children through the entire show. Whoever brings your child to the room is required to sign in, and this person will also have to pick up.
Once you check in your child, you may only take them to the bathroom (after letting the staff know). If you want your child to visit family, it must be either before you check in or after you check out. No parents or students are allowed backstage to watch the show; they should be in their assigned dressing rooms or have tickets to watch in the auditorium. Students may not watch the show until after they have completed ALL of their dances. Please bring coloring books, crayons, and board games etc. to keep dancers busy – no markers, please. Clear beverages are preferred and snacks must be nut free!
Recital Link and Performance Photos: Professional photographer, Shawn Black will be recording and photographing the recital. He will be offering Recital Recording Link (not a dvd) and performance photo package options.

DRESS REHEARSAL INFORMATION
Dress Rehearsal – Monday, June 9 & Wednesday, June 11 @ Burlington High School 123 Cambridge Street Burlington, Ma 01803
Dress Rehearsal is split into two days to give each class the appropriate stage time for spacing and running their dance(s.) Rehearsals will begin at 4:00pm. Please note, ARRIVAL TIME is dancer’s arrival time NOT their estimated rehearsal time.
• Please arrive on time, hair and makeup done
• Only one adult per family; if possible please do not bring siblings unless they are in the show
• Parent/caregiver is responsible for their dancer; babysitters are not available.
• No dressing rooms for dress rehearsal
• Snacks & water will be available to purchase at dress rehearsal only. Please note, food is NOT allowed in the theater
• Once your dancer is done, please pack up and leave promptly
Rehearsal will be in full costume, hair, and make-up. Please make sure correct tights are worn and shoes are dyed as needed. Find specifics in the class shoe & tight color 2025
On Your Toes in Peabody has all your recital needs!
Make-up should be worn more than natural; the stage lighting will wash out the dancers’ faces if they don’t have make-up on.
Recommendations for makeup: Neutral tones for eyes are recommend to enhance their features, with a red lipstick.
Recommendations for hair: hairspray, elastics, bobby pins & hairnet if wearing a bun
Dancers should not wear jewelry or nail polish
No classes will be held the week of June 9th.
RECITAL TICKET DAY – Sunday, June 1st 10am-12pm
Ticket Day at the studio gives you first choice of assigned seating for the recital.
Can’t make it to Ticket Day? There are other options for buying your tickets too.
Ticket Day Basics
Those taking advantage of Ticket Day will be given the first option on recital seating.

▪Price: $40 per ticket CASH ONLY
In order to purchase tickets, all balances must be paid up-to-date. Please login to your classbug account to review your status.
Ticket costs and purchasing options
Tickets purchased in advance are $40.00 per seat. Tickets purchased at the door on recital day are $42.00 per seat.
Advance ticket sales are at the studio with 3 options:
Ticket Day: Doors will open at 10:00am on June 1st for first option seating (see procedures below)
Mail-In Form: must be received by May 30th and these orders are filled at the close of Ticket Day (see details below)
Class days beginning June 2nd by appointment: email the studio to set up a time with Lynn or Jen (lj@lynnandjensdancestudio.com)
Ticket requirements and considerations
Please note that tickets are required. Everyone who enters the auditorium needs to have a ticket, including small children. It is a fire law that all children 3 and over must have a seat.
If you would like your dancer to watch the show you must purchase them a ticket but please keep in mind students may not watch the show until after they have completed ALL of their dances.
Ticket Day Procedure:
Check in at the door and finalize any overdue balance on your account. You will receive your ticket voucher and proceed to the ticket line.
Proceed to the seating table to select from available seating and complete your ticket voucher.
Proceed to the payment table to purchase your tickets. CASH ONLY will be accepted.
Important: After purchasing your ticket(s), please double-check seating chart with the actual tickets to make sure you have the correct tickets.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE YOU LEAVE THE STUDIO!
Mail-In Ticket Form
Can’t make it to Ticket Day? No problem! A mail-in option is available, and these orders are filled at the close of Ticket Day. All ticket forms must be received by Friday, May 30. Please pay by check made payable to the studio (no cash). Tickets can be picked up at the studio during your dancer’s class time. Ticket Order Form 2025
